Brady turned 1 today. Wow. The past two days have been huge break through. He has started to walk and is really liking the idea. We have to guide him a little bit but man, it is so amazing to watch a person take their very first steps. He has walked about 10 feet without the help of someone else. Brady was also able to try cake today for the first time. We figured we would give it a test drive before the big party on Saturday. He loved it! I'm sure the blue icing will go over so much better on Saturday. Ha. Happy birthday Charles Braden Behringer!

Wow....it is amazing that it has been a year since the last pickle. I was so pregnant and now we have this wonderful boy who is going to be turning 1 on Friday. Oh my...Everyone says time flies but it really does. The pickle was pretty fun this year. The weather was great. A little overcast with a breeze! We had 5 bands that played, most being people we went to high school with which was very cool. Saw a bunch of friends and just enjoyed the night. Brady had a blast! Loved the music, loved the people, & of course loved the fireworks.

4th of July
We had a great weekend. We went to a parade and fireworks on Thursday night. Then Friday headed to a friends house to enjoy time and of course some more fireworks. Sunday we ended up going to the Sandwich Fairgrounds to see the vintage baseball game and then watch the fireworks. Brady was a trooper by not getting to bed close to 10:00 each of the nights. He even fell asleep during the Sandwich fireworks which were the loudest of them all. What a wonderful little boy we have and great friends and family that we were able to hang out with. Thanks for a fantastic time.
White Sox game (& oh and Cubs also)
Go Cubs - Go White Sox
Working on that walking
Trying to show great uncle mike which way to go.
Brady was able to attend his very first baseball game! We were able to go to the White Sox & Cubs when they played each other. It was so much fun going to tailgate and seeing the game(Sox won). Uncle Mike & Heather flew in from Philly area to go to the game with us. It was so much fun.
Enjoying the pregame food.

Josiah Scott Krooswyk
My cousin Laura gave birth to a boy, Josiah Scott, who was born via c-section on Friday, June 27th at 10:53 pm. She was induced all day long on Friday because the doctor thought that he was big. The labor throughout the day was manageable but then about 7:30 pm he started to react negatively to the Pitocin (his heartbeat went down a little). The doctor who brought him out and said that he had red hair (strawberry blonde if anything). She said it was a boy and man was he a squeaker. He officially came in to the world at 7 pounds 13 ounces and 21 inches long. We are so excited for them. Josiah might get to be Brady's play buddy when the parents go to the Bears training camp!
