Here I go!
Move over kiddos!

My Boys...from Daycare.
(Brady, Christian, Bryce, & Caleb)
Church had an Easter Egg hunt in between services this week and Brady was a mad man going for the eggs! :) We had to wait a little bit and then then they said go...he then stood there and watched the kids! Ha! So we coaxed him a little and he got the idea. It was pretty fun!

What a FUN weekend!

Lets go swimming!

CHEESE!
I'm a big boy who just went down a slide by myself!

Big bucket just poured out...watch out!

This weekend was pretty fun. I had the day off on Friday to see Dusty's track girls compete at indoor state. Before we left for state Brady and myself did a little shopping. I got Brady a new swim suit and a pair of shorts. We then saw a cute little green dress with flowers. Brady really wanted to buy something for his little sister, how could I say no! We then got lunch and headed home for a quick nap and off to Illinois Wesleyan. The high jumper cleared opening height but didn't make it any further. His hurdler did very well. She was ranked 6th but ended up getting 3rd in state! Pretty impressive I might say! Ian and Rm met us at the meet and we just hung out for the time in between races. During all the excitement there was a long jumper who broke her FEMUR! Ewww! So that made everything slow down a little bit.
Saturday I was invited to Valpo for a softball game in which there was going to be an alumni presentation but they cancelled everything because of the weather. So we decided to stay home. We then got the opportunity to go to an indoor water park/hotel! How fun was that! Brady had so much fun and he did so well. He went down the slides and even one slide that was probably too fast for him...only cried for a sec after bumping his head(whoops). We went on the lazy river and through all the fun things that squirt at you. Daddy even enjoyed the BIG slide where he tipped over every time he came out of the tube!
Overall it was a great weekend with such great family time for us. It seems like things always go so fast and by the time we unwind at home, we are asleep on the couch. I thank everyone for all the help and support they have shown as I have transitioned my career to where it is at today. It has been a rough couple of years but I think we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel and starting to enjoy life!

Firestation

We went to visit Grandpa John at the fire station and Brady loved the fire trucks! He was able to get in all the different truck and turn the lights on. He was also able to honk the horn and pretend to even drive!

Brady working hard!

Brady came to work with me while Dusty did some moving of boxes for my dad. He took over my desk and made himself at home. He typed up a word document and looked at all the pictures I have on the computer.

Valentines Day

Brady wearing the slippers we got in our hotel room! Enjoying the pool.

Valentines Day

We headed out of town for the Valentine's weekend. It was nice to get away and have a little retreat. Brady had a great time swimming and Dusty and myself got some much needed rest! We got the "sweetheart" package which included slippers, buffet breakfast, and chocolate strawberries and champagne. What a treat to have such pampering

It's a girl!

Wow...I am in total shock of the results that we got last night. I swore it was going to be another boy with the way I had been feeling and how sick I had been(just like with Brady). I guess I just get ill with being pregnant! I think we sat in the appointment and didn't say much for a couple minutes (Dusty flashed forward 25 years to walking his daughter down the aisle). I had the reaction to the lady of "what". I didn't have girls names or anything picked out because I never had thought about it(even though there was a 50% chance). I was set with boys name that I liked but WHAM a girl! The tech said she was 95% sure that it was a girl and the pictures look totally different than with Brady. The baby is so curled up and stuck that I feel bad! We did get to see the arms, legs, spine and the belly. She is right on track for the 4th of July. The baby is about 1lb which again is just amazing. She was moving almost the whole time and they were only little movements so I am unable to feel them but she was all over the place! The news wave is traveling fast that Dusty is going to have a daughter. He was pretty excited...he gets his table for 4 now! Pics to come when I scan and upload them.

Today is the day...

Today at 5:00 we go for the 20 week ultrasound. Yahoo! I can't wait! I hope our baby is sitting in a good position and we can see! I'm sure I will be updating when we get home!
