Things are starting to get pretty exciting around the Behringer household. 18 days and counting to the scheduled C-Section for baby #2. (June 26) Baby has dropped and if I feel ANYTHING...we are suppose to head straight to the hospital. Oh geez! Brady is starting to realize some things are happening. The past 2 days have been big stars. Brady has been sleeping in his toddler bed for his naps but the one time we tried the bed for overnight, he rolled out and over to the changing table. Whoops! So Saturday night we tried again and he slept through the whole night in the big boy bed! YEAH BRADY!!! No turning back now. Brady has also taken up some chores around the house. Feeding trump is the main one he is suppose to do every morning with daddy. He is being such a good helper. I can't want to see him as a big brother. I know there will be an adjustment but he loves this baby already.

Prom 2009
(?, Jordan Roberts, Zack Copple, Matt Morse, David Zielke, Steve Clancey)
Matt and Taylor
Brady with Uncle Matt
University of Central Florida Garter...Pretty Impressive!
Matt had prom this past weekend. We took pictures at the park in Yorkville and then headed to Fisherman's Inn where ACS had their prom walk. Unfortunately Matt and his group had some "problems" on the way so we faked the walk when they got there. One car broke down, they went to pick up that couple, then their van broke down, so they arrived in a very nice Nissan. :) Matt and his date, Taylor looked fantastic! As far as we know, the rest of the night went off without a hitch!

Valpo Weekend

Brady is becoming such a character. He chatters up a storm and has such a personality about him. He loves his baseball and LOVES to swim. Mommy only got in the pool one time because it was chilly and as you can see, Brady and Daddy jumped right in. We did get to see some Valpo softball which I really enjoyed watching and on Sunday they even had "Go Pink" shirts for Breast Cancer awareness which was a very cool idea. You can see the Valpo girls had pink socks to go along with the pink shirts they were wearing/selling. This is the first time I had been back to Valpo in a long time and they have changed the campus so much! I knew the softball field was now on campus but all the other buildings that had been put up is crazy! There is even a parking garage now. They have also changed the campus so that it is a walking campus and you can't drive through the middle anymore. Very different and more cluttered by the dorms but the open area is beautiful and of course the chapel is still the tallest building on campus.
Go Crusaders!

A VERY busy Easter Weekend
Happy Birthday Grandma! We went to the Sox game on Friday night to celebrate Grandma's birthday. The Sox game was a good game till the 7th inning when the Twins scored 7 runs! That really made the 30 degree temps feel REALLY cold! But check out the hat Brady got at the game...GO SOX!
Happy Easter. Brady had a great Easter at the Behringer Farm. We woke up and did a few Easter hunts, went to church, had some good food, and got to play with the family. Here are a few pics from all the fun times!
What did I get in the Easter baskets? This is so much fun!
Check me out mom...I am looking good!
Mom's photo opportunity. What a little cutie Dusty and myself have. We are so lucky! Brady is such a good boy and he is growing bigger and stronger everyday. We continue to work on his speech and love seeing him learn and recognize new things. Brady and myself count the ducks on our lake every morning when we get up and of course give the morning squeeze and kisses. What a blessing we have been given to have Brady in our life and baby #2 will be just as big of a joy.

Church had an Easter Egg hunt in between services this week and Brady was a mad man going for the eggs! :) We had to wait a little bit and then then they said go...he then stood there and watched the kids! Ha! So we coaxed him a little and he got the idea. It was pretty fun!

What a FUN weekend!
Lets go swimming!
The King in his bed.
Yahoo!I'm a big boy who just went down a slide by myself!
Big bucket just poured out...watch out!
Big bucket just poured out...watch out! This weekend was pretty fun. I had the day off on Friday to see Dusty's track girls compete at indoor state. Before we left for state Brady and myself did a little shopping. I got Brady a new swim suit and a pair of shorts. We then saw a cute little green dress with flowers. Brady really wanted to buy something for his little sister, how could I say no! We then got lunch and headed home for a quick nap and off to Illinois Wesleyan. The high jumper cleared opening height but didn't make it any further. His hurdler did very well. She was ranked 6th but ended up getting 3rd in state! Pretty impressive I might say! Ian and Rm met us at the meet and we just hung out for the time in between races. During all the excitement there was a long jumper who broke her FEMUR! Ewww! So that made everything slow down a little bit.
Saturday I was invited to Valpo for a softball game in which there was going to be an alumni presentation but they cancelled everything because of the weather. So we decided to stay home. We then got the opportunity to go to an indoor water park/hotel! How fun was that! Brady had so much fun and he did so well. He went down the slides and even one slide that was probably too fast for him...only cried for a sec after bumping his head(whoops). We went on the lazy river and through all the fun things that squirt at you. Daddy even enjoyed the BIG slide where he tipped over every time he came out of the tube!
Overall it was a great weekend with such great family time for us. It seems like things always go so fast and by the time we unwind at home, we are asleep on the couch. I thank everyone for all the help and support they have shown as I have transitioned my career to where it is at today. It has been a rough couple of years but I think we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel and starting to enjoy life!
