Daddy, Brady, & Rhino

Happy Father's Day! With 5 days left to go before baby #2 arrives, we thought it would be a great idea to head to the Brookfield Zoo when it was one of the hottest days of the year so far....ha... (can you tell who types the blog). It was a great day and overall it ended up being very fun. Daddy enjoyed his time with the family and we saw many animals. Brady was pretty excited to see the elephants, mommy liked the giraffes, and daddy enjoyed the river otters.

1st Swim Lesson

Kick Kick Kick

Brady had his first swim lesson on Saturday. He already LOVES the water but we thought we would check it out. They sang songs and worked on kicking. Brady even was on a kickboard where he did great and dad almost had his hands off the board. I was so proud that I was crying while my boys were in the water. They even worked on going under the water and Brady did well with it. After he went under, Dusty asked if he liked going under the water and he said "Whoa". I guess that sums it all up!

Kimberly's Birthday

Here is Brady giving Kimberly her birthday truck ride...she looks mighty excited doesn't she!
What do I want....hmm...

A bug...PERFECT!

Kimberly turned 11! We went to Chuck E. Cheeses for the birthday girls dinner and Brady loves the pizza (of course) and the rides!

10 Years of Teaching

Dusty was honored last week for 10 years of teaching and coaching at Sandwich. We are so proud of daddy and all he does for our family.

Things are starting to get pretty exciting around the Behringer household. 18 days and counting to the scheduled C-Section for baby #2. (June 26) Baby has dropped and if I feel ANYTHING...we are suppose to head straight to the hospital. Oh geez! Brady is starting to realize some things are happening. The past 2 days have been big stars. Brady has been sleeping in his toddler bed for his naps but the one time we tried the bed for overnight, he rolled out and over to the changing table. Whoops! So Saturday night we tried again and he slept through the whole night in the big boy bed! YEAH BRADY!!! No turning back now. Brady has also taken up some chores around the house. Feeding trump is the main one he is suppose to do every morning with daddy. He is being such a good helper. I can't want to see him as a big brother. I know there will be an adjustment but he loves this baby already.

Happy Mother's Day

Brady and me at the Sox game.
Getting some good food before the game at the Stadium Club. How fast do you think I can throw?

Cheese...can you see daddy?
Hanging out at home after the game.
What a great Mother's Day.
Wonderful weather, good food, great family, to bad the Sox only got 2 hits! :)

Prom 2009

Brady with Uncle Matt

University of Central Florida Garter...Pretty Impressive!

Matt had prom this past weekend. We took pictures at the park in Yorkville and then headed to Fisherman's Inn where ACS had their prom walk. Unfortunately Matt and his group had some "problems" on the way so we faked the walk when they got there. One car broke down, they went to pick up that couple, then their van broke down, so they arrived in a very nice Nissan. :) Matt and his date, Taylor looked fantastic! As far as we know, the rest of the night went off without a hitch!

Alright...enough pics already, have some fun!

Valpo Weekend

Brady is becoming such a character. He chatters up a storm and has such a personality about him. He loves his baseball and LOVES to swim. Mommy only got in the pool one time because it was chilly and as you can see, Brady and Daddy jumped right in. We did get to see some Valpo softball which I really enjoyed watching and on Sunday they even had "Go Pink" shirts for Breast Cancer awareness which was a very cool idea. You can see the Valpo girls had pink socks to go along with the pink shirts they were wearing/selling. This is the first time I had been back to Valpo in a long time and they have changed the campus so much! I knew the softball field was now on campus but all the other buildings that had been put up is crazy! There is even a parking garage now. They have also changed the campus so that it is a walking campus and you can't drive through the middle anymore. Very different and more cluttered by the dorms but the open area is beautiful and of course the chapel is still the tallest building on campus.

Go Crusaders!
