Mental Strength

This week has been an emotional roller coaster...Kayden was born on Monday and that was one of the "marker" my husband and myself were looking forward to on the way to having our baby #3. I was able to be there for the delivery and WOW, what an experience. I cried when I saw Kayden as most people would and it was a good cry. Not as my baby was gone - but as there was a healthy baby girl born today. I love her so much! I love her mom and dad. They are awesome and I know they know how special this baby girl is.

The hard part was being at the same hospital, walking down the same hallway to the same room with the same doctor to deliver. It was like a dream - but once in the room with Nicole and Greg, it reminded me that this was not about me and it was about this wonderful family having a safe and healthy delivery of a beautiful baby girl.

Baby #3

That little thing in the middle is a baby #3!

We are excited to announce that we are going to be having baby #3. I went for a doctor appointment on Monday, Sept 13 to confirm everything and look for a heartbeat. While I was in there, they told me they thought I was farther along than I was and they would like to do an ultrasound right away. 1. I had the wrong date...or 2. which is what the doctor was thinking, that there was twins. I send Dusty a text saying they hadn't found the heartbeat and were going to do a ultrasound. I happened to not mention the fact that there could be twins! I had the ultra sound and they found that I had 1 baby floating around in there and a possible cyst that may have burst so there was more fluid. I asked about the fact that I had a tubal pregnancy about 6 months ago if this would lead to any problems and they said no. Phew...I do have to go back in 2 weeks to do another measurement and ultrasound to give us a definite due date.

We are super excited! Obviously thinking about things that we need to do and of course the good old name game begins again. We are going to have to buy a new car as the S10 already doesn't fit us, so we are going to be looking into cars! Thanks for all the calls, text, and facebook posts already! We love all our family and friends! <3

Dusty's best buddy got married and we were blessed to be able to go and enjoy the time with family & friends! Dusty was in the wedding which was pretty special since there was only 2 on each side. Trish's maid of honor was her sister, Zack's was his brother. Dusty was able to walk with Paxton which is Trish's daughter. Pretty special I might say! It was a great time and a wonderful party...too bad the cake didn't show up! :O

Our kids

Yep...those are our kids! :)

Visiting Santa

We went to visit Santa and Ashlyn and Brady did well. Ashlyn was laughing on Santa's lap but Brady took a little more convincing to get on Santa's lap. Brady told Santa what he wanted, took the picture, and off he got! (If you look close, you may recognize Santa's helper) :)

Cuttin the tree

We went and cut our own Christmas tree this year! How fun!!! We headed to to Camelot Tree Farm to find the perfect tree. Brady enjoyed running to each tree wanting to pick that one for our house. We ended up finding the perfect tree that was tall but skinny! Dusty & Brady cut the tree down and then we headed to Santa's Shop for hot choco, juice, and cookies. It was great family time and only had to stop 3 times on the way home to fix the tree! :D
