Teeth!

Brady has officially cut 12 teeth so far! I find this amazing that a child would have this many teeth. I knew he was going to get them but this seems so fast. Also we learned about the molars the hard way by trying everything to make Brady feel better just as we did last Christmas(when he got 6 teeth) when he acted the same...silly us. Teeth! Brady does not enjoy baby food anymore. He loves to eat anything that we are eating. He has now graduated to his own plate where he can take the food off the plate himself. His favorite food would have to be hot dogs! Good thing he likes them since we are going to the Joliet Jackhammer game tonight!

Date Night

Well football has begun but before it did, Dusty & myself went on a date night. We went to Chapin's in Morris for some appetizers and then met up with the Avery's and headed to the White Sox game. We got there about 3 hours before the game and tailgated. Then we went inside to see Griffey!!! How fun was that. The Sox won 9-0 and Griffey got a hit. It was a great last night date before football and I look forward to the next one.

Brady, Dusty, & myself had nothing planned this Sunday but to enjoy the last time for awhile that things won't be so hectic. We hung out at home, had a nap, and then headed to the park by our house for a little water fun. Brady loved it! He is walking so well and would walk right through the the water. He is great!

Daylia Grace

My cousin Jeff (& wife Lisa) had a baby girl on August 4, 2008. Daylia was born at 2:12 pm. She weighed 7'15 and was 20 inches long. She is the first girl on the Boss side for any of the cousins. Now we have 6 babies under 2 (Kruesie, John Jr, Brady, Austin, Josiah, & Daylia with another cousin pregnant). Christmas will be amazing.

We got to go to the preseason Chicago Bears game this past Thursday. The game was fun and we defiantly enjoyed our time, only bad thing was that the Bears lost. We did find out we were famous though. A friend of ours called Friday morning to tell us that he saw us in the Redeye paper, which is out of Chicago...so click on the link(http://redeye.chicagotribune.com/media/acrobat/2008-08/41511636.pdf) and go to page 6. I'm standing up & Bridget, Derek, and Dusty are sitting. Pretty cool!

I know....REALLY late but here we go...Brady turned 1! What an amazing year it has been. He is growing up so fast. We had his first birthday party at our house on the 19th. It was a beautiful day and so many people turned out! Thanks to everyone who helped with the party and who came and enjoyed the party. Also what a great bean bag tournament that ended in the dark with a car shinning lights on the game so we could finish. Congrats to the winners...Dad & Derek Avery.

Happy Birthday Brady!

Brady turned 1 today. Wow. The past two days have been huge break through. He has started to walk and is really liking the idea. We have to guide him a little bit but man, it is so amazing to watch a person take their very first steps. He has walked about 10 feet without the help of someone else. Brady was also able to try cake today for the first time. We figured we would give it a test drive before the big party on Saturday. He loved it! I'm sure the blue icing will go over so much better on Saturday. Ha. Happy birthday Charles Braden Behringer!

Wow....it is amazing that it has been a year since the last pickle. I was so pregnant and now we have this wonderful boy who is going to be turning 1 on Friday. Oh my...Everyone says time flies but it really does. The pickle was pretty fun this year. The weather was great. A little overcast with a breeze! We had 5 bands that played, most being people we went to high school with which was very cool. Saw a bunch of friends and just enjoyed the night. Brady had a blast! Loved the music, loved the people, & of course loved the fireworks.

4th of July

We had a great weekend. We went to a parade and fireworks on Thursday night. Then Friday headed to a friends house to enjoy time and of course some more fireworks. Sunday we ended up going to the Sandwich Fairgrounds to see the vintage baseball game and then watch the fireworks. Brady was a trooper by not getting to bed close to 10:00 each of the nights. He even fell asleep during the Sandwich fireworks which were the loudest of them all. What a wonderful little boy we have and great friends and family that we were able to hang out with. Thanks for a fantastic time.
